Many - rightfully - regard him as the "father" of the singer-songwriter genre gat became popular in the early Seventies. Carole King & James Taylor: Just Call Out My Name

CNN Films has announced the commission of a brand new concert documentary, “CAROLE KING & JAMES TAYLOR: Just Call Out My Name“, following James and his longtime friend Carole King on their 2010 Troubadour Reunion tour.

The documentary, directed by Frank Marshall, will premiere on CNN and then be available on HBO Max starting in 2022. Danny Kortchmar has worked on the audio for the documentary.

Canadian tour rescheduled

James Taylor's Canadian tour, originally planned for 2020 and initially postponed to September 2021 will now be start in April 2022. Because of scheduling conflicts Bonnie Raitt can no longer join James on the tour. Jackson Browne will be stepping in for Bonnie and will join James as special guest on the tour.

Tour updates

James Taylor and Jackson Browne have extended their 2021 US tour with an additional 18 dates throughout November and December. Tickets will be available soon. On the other hand, James' tour with Bonnie Raitt in Canada has been postponed until further notice. New dates will be announced as soon as possible.
