James will feature on the new christmas album of fiddler Mark O'Connor. The album, called "An Appalachian Christmas", will also feature Yo-Yo Ma, Renee Fleming, Alison Krauss, Sharon Isbin, Jane Monheit, Chris Thile, Steve Wariner and more guests.

James will be the singer on "Ol' Blue". He also did this song on  O'Connor's 1989 album "On the Mark." So far, it is not known if this is the same recording or a new one. The cd will be released on September 20th.
