After almost 4 months of traveling the 57-date Troubadour Reunion Tour has come to an end. The tour was a huge succes and was even called the "biggest/best" tour of the year by diverse media sources. More than 700.000 people have had a chance to visit one of the shows. As an extra, the succes of this tour results in 1,5 million dollars raised in cooperation with Tickets for Charity to give to multiple good causes in the U.S.

James Taylor and Carole King themselves are very satisfied with the tour. You can watch their thankyou-message here. You can also watch a clip from a "Way Over Yonder" (Carole King) performance of this tour, here.

There is a slight chance that a DVD of this tour will be released, since video recording were made during multiple shows. However, there are no direct plans to make/release such a DVD. Of course, it would even be more fun if James Taylor en Carole King could come to Europe. At the moment they don't really rule this out, but there no concrete plan to take the tour to other places.

Most likely James Taylor will now focus on this familiy, performances with his son Benjamin Taylor and hopefully writing new songs. More information about those last to marks will probably be released soon.
